These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of DeBoard.ai ("Service"), operated by Abdulatif Mahgoub ("we", "us", "our"). By using the Service you agree to these Terms.
DeBoard.ai is a voice-driven AI teaching whiteboard that draws diagrams, code, and equations in real time as you speak. The Service is provided via the website at deboard.ai.
You must be at least 16 years old to use the Service. By using the Service, you represent that you meet this requirement.
The Service offers a free tier of 2 one-time credits (5 per day after joining the waitlist); free-tier output carries a “Made with deboard” watermark and is for personal, non-commercial use. Paid subscriptions (Creator and Studio) include a generous monthly credit allowance, remove the watermark, and permit commercial use, subject to reasonable fair-use limits intended to prevent automated abuse or resale (we may apply a generous ceiling that ordinary use will never reach). Credits are not consumed when you regenerate output to correct an error produced by the Service. Subscription fees are billed monthly (or annually where offered) and are non-refundable except as described in our Refund Policy.
You agree not to: (a) use the Service for any unlawful purpose; (b) attempt to circumvent rate limits or access controls; (c) scrape, reverse-engineer, or resell the Service; (d) submit content that is harmful, abusive, or violates third-party rights.
The Service and its original content, features, and functionality are owned by us. Content you create using the Service remains yours. You grant us a limited licence to process your input to deliver the Service.
The Service uses AI models to generate educational content. AI output may be inaccurate. You are responsible for verifying any information generated by the Service before relying on it.
We aim for high availability but do not guarantee uninterrupted service. We may modify or discontinue features at any time with reasonable notice.
To the maximum extent permitted by law, we shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from your use of the Service. Our total liability shall not exceed the amount you paid us in the last 12 months.
We may suspend or terminate your access for breach of these Terms. You may cancel your subscription at any time through your account settings.
These Terms are governed by the laws of the United Arab Emirates. Disputes shall be resolved in the courts of Dubai, UAE.

This Privacy Policy explains how DeBoard.ai ("we", "us") collects, uses, and protects your information when you use our Service at deboard.ai.
We use the following third-party services to operate the Service:
Input data (the text you submit and the content we generate) is logged pseudonymously and retained for up to 90 days for debugging and quality improvement, after which it is automatically deleted. Usage data is retained for up to 90 days. Account data is retained until you delete your account.
You may request access to, correction of, or deletion of your personal data by emailing hello@deboard.ai. We will respond within 30 days.
We use a session cookie to maintain your login state. We do not use advertising or tracking cookies.
The Service is not directed to children under 16. We do not knowingly collect data from children under 16.
We may update this policy. We will notify you by email or prominent notice on the Service for material changes.

We want you to be satisfied with DeBoard.ai. This policy explains when and how we issue refunds.
Monthly Pro subscriptions may be cancelled at any time. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period — you retain Pro access until then. We do not issue pro-rated refunds for partial months.
If you are not satisfied with your Pro subscription, you may request a full refund within 14 days of your first payment. This applies to first-time subscribers only.
Email hello@deboard.ai with your account email and reason. We process refund requests within 3 business days. Refunds are returned to the original payment method.
We reserve the right to deny refunds where we detect abuse of the refund policy (e.g. repeated subscribe-refund cycles).
The free tier has no associated charges and is therefore not eligible for refunds.
